Merle Rasmussen as apparently gotten back the rights to the game (and the TSR name), and is currently collecting money for the new version, Top Secret: New World Order.
That Rasmussen is involved is good. That the guy who wrote Top Secret: SI is involved is not.
In their quest to create clean, simple game mechanics, they have come up with something that you need 12 dice at any given time, and a "player's mat" to track which one goes where. And the component list for the boxed set sounds more like a board game than a roleplaying game. Might be worth picking up the PDF to browse through, but I'm not impressed. I'm sticking with Covert Ops.
