Also known as, Is anyone else there I feel lonely?, Did I misremember where the old Frontierspace site was?, Is everyone hiding because its my birthday? or Someone quickly, look there's a pulse.
Figured I'd post to see if anyone else is around (ie you Mr Logan) and to get the details if the old FS site is still up. I fell off the Earth last year, so I figure I'd ask here.

Hope they are still working on it Rampant! Been wanting to get the finished product for a while!
I'll second that. Frontierspace was great, (I've got all the downloads), It was the best unpublished game not in the market and somewhat better than most of them in it. It became my go to SIFI RPG despite the fact that it was unfinished. Then it seemed to dissapear. I do hope it comes out soon.
Hey guys, wow, Bill and I have been absent form this site. Here's some good news and some delayed news:

When I asked my gaming group about the book question everyone cheered “BIG BOOK FOR ME”. The idea of a big fat tomb with everything in it was certainly appealing. However when we got talking the mood of the group changed a little. Yes we were all experienced gamers who would go the extra mile to play a good game or even put money aside for a new RPG book Particularly FS. But what about the average guy who may be an occasional gamer or someone beginning the hobby? Would they show our determination to get the finished article at all costs? We weren’t so sure.
A smaller user friendly player’s book would certainly appear less intimidating to a new player and the smaller price tag make it very accessible. Knowing that the system was supported with books like equipment and referees manuals would be encouraging because it feels like if you buy the first book and like it the game is expansive. A number of RPGs from new smaller publishers have come out over the years and only a few have been well supported. I remember playing C&S one of the most technically complex games around when the expansions didn’t appear market interest in the game seemed to just dry up (I’m referring to the rebirth Britannia games version here. The earlier FGU versions seemed to hold their own in their day). So I guess we decided that three smaller books would fit into the modern market easier and that’s the best way to go.
I know the decision has already been made but I suppose it’s good to know that the users out there are in agreement.
As for a big Tomb in hard back I think the older more experienced gamers might like that.
Excellent feedback, thanks!
Hello!
I'm very excited about Covert Ops. This game is igniting the long dormant, but strong passions I had for Top Secret/S.I.
Great job, DwD!
