If you choose Warrior for either your Primary or Secondary skill, does the P/S bonus apply to both aspects (melee/ranged), or do you treat them as two separate choices?
My thought is to treat them separately, but I'm not seeing this in the book (going through it for first time, just bought it today, so I may be overlooking something obvious)
BareBones Fantasy RPG is not associated with Skaldcrow Games' Bare Bones Multiverse, despite similar names. Check out Glenn's products by clicking here.
Applies to both.
Thank you, good to know.
It applies to both because the system treats the Warrior as the ultimate combatant. They are fluent in all things weapon, melee or ranged. They don't get any other flashy abilities like other skills. Their flashy coolness IS being ridiculously capable with all types of weapons.
Some folks have complained that you don't "get much" for a level in Warrior compared to other skills, and that everything you "get" with a level in Warrior can be achieved by other classes boosting their STR or DEX. But if that's the case, why are all the front line fighter types always kicking so much butt and having all the memorable moments in every game I play? :-)
