I got that the other day but today I'm able. I don't know what the heck is the problem... I have a helpdesk ticket in with my web host, but he just keeps saying he doesn't see any problems :-(
I just got it in the Agents of Sector Photos blog post.
This is what I intended to post:
I think the companies who are rejecting the game over what they think are non-unique mechanics are overlooking these things:
1) You have done all the leg work so that they don't have to do anything but publish, (Meaning they save money on production,)
2) the game is highly thematic; games often sell and even become blockbusters strictly because of maintaining a strong theme, though simply repackaged earlier games. (But personally, I think you game here is not like any other.)
3) Your game, regardless of the familiarity of mechanics, is unique in its arrangement, and that is all that matters. (Look how many MtG clones are out there and make good money. In fact, MtG started out as a clone of an earlier game.)
I think I just figured it out: if it has trouble parsing information, it won't post. Or maybe there is a word count limit to paragraphs. I just had trouble in one thread and I posted a brief reply here and it worked, but then decided to add the reply from the other thread above and it wouldn't work. So I split it up into smaller parts, as you can see its in multiple paragraphs, and it let me post.
Here are the issues, when I try to edit some posts, or reply to certain posts, I get "The requested page could not be found." It's not consistent, sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm still getting it. I've been trying to post stuff for two days, and no dice.

that's weird because I have no such restrictions in place :-(
