I'll be running two BareBones Wuxia! adventures:
The Willow Blades
In The Willow Blades, you play heroes that will try to save a town from an evil menace using your wits, fists, swords and magic.
Steel Demon
A famous sword smith has stopped making swords. The heroic Wodan sect has sent some representatives to find out why. They find there is more at stake than a smith not working. Will the heroes’ kung fu be enough to defeat the evil at the heart of this story?
Other Titles I see about 40 games being hosted in these 2 days.
Doom the RPG
Pathfinder (a whole metric ton of these)
Some Dungeons and Dragons
Savage Worlds (several hosted by an excellent GM and friend of mine, Matthew J. Hanson of Sneak Attack Press)
Some horror games, western games etc.

BareBones Fantasy RPG is not associated with Skaldcrow Games' Bare Bones Multiverse, despite similar names. Check out Glenn's products by clicking here.
Awesome!
Clearwater Con 2016 After Action Report, Eau Claire WI
I ran a couple of games of BareBones Wuxia! this past weekend. I had full tables with mixed levels of gaming experience and ages.
The adventures were updated to the latest playtest doc as were the pre-generated characters. One of my goals besides general feedback was to see if the new weapon damage rules felt right to players besides the playtest groups. Within moments of players looking at their character sheets I heard comments about how cool it was that there was no one best weapon and that you could us weapons, unarmed combat and improvised weapons with equal ease and effectiveness.
Between the two games players got to experience fighting hordes of mooks, villains, monsters and master villains. Along with that were mysteries, deception and rescues. One player used a wooden serving tray; he flung it across a teahouse and knocked out a bad guy! The players made comments about how the battles had lots of movement, not just “I run up and wack him” kind of thing. They learned to use the Press the Attack rule effectively after seeing it used just once.
It was a good networking opportunity for me and I got an invite to yet another con next spring. Very positive feedback from all the players.
